The “Bulgarian wings” Foundation will work on the following objectives:
1. Creation, development and support of positive initiatives related to education and respect for the Bulgarian army, its Air Force and Bulgaria as our homeland;
2. Support the role of government institutions in making important decisions regarding the education of children in the spirit of humanity, patriotism and responsible attitude towards the army and society as a whole;
3. Carry out cultural, educational, scientific and research activities;
4. Initiating, organizing and supporting various activities related to the development and promotion of the aviation idea in all its aspects;
5. Support of various events which strengthen the public image of the Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Transport and Communications, as well as events which contribute to building up a positive image of their employees;
6. Initiate charitable activities to assist present and former employees of these ministries, their families and the families of those lost in the line of duty;
7. Initiate and support the building of new monuments and memorable places as well as maintain the existing ones associated with the act of heroism in the name of Bulgaria; support the construction and maintenance of churches and monasteries;
8. The initiation and support of activities of the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Youth and Sports intended to build young people’s positive attitude towards the service in the Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Transport and especially the professions associated with the aviation and navy;
9. Initiate activities related to improving the social status of the employees of the Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Transport as well as building a network for social and medical assistance for former employees of those institutions and their families.
10. Permanent work to unite the efforts of all participants and supporters of the Air Force in the Republic of Bulgaria to strengthen, develop and elevate their prestige at home and abroad;
11. Raising funds to subsidize activities for the social protection of former and current employees of the Air Force and their families, the families of the airmen lost in the line of duty, military disabled, injured in the performance of duty and others;
12. Supporting the professional development of the military from the Air Force in domestic and foreign educational institutions; providing opportunities for social realization of the military going into retirement and their families;
13. Promotion of the aviation idea among young people with the purpose to direct them towards a future service in the Air Force.
